How it works

When a cask fraud story breaks, the warehouse is often named whether it did anything wrong or not. A CaskID record shows exactly which casks you confirmed you hold.

What warehouses ask us
Is it free?
Yes. Confirming casks costs you nothing. Owners pay for their own record.
Do we need an account?
No. You can reply to our emails. A warehouse account adds a dashboard, and it’s needed for photo uploads and earnings.
What exactly do you ask us to confirm?
Only whether a cask with the details shown is in your custody. We never ask you who owns it.
Which casks pay for photos?
Casks held with you whose owners pay for CaskID, once per cask every 12 months, under the photo terms we agree with you.
Does what you pay us change what owners pay?
No. Owners pay CaskID one annual subscription and never pay the warehouse directly. What we pay you comes out of CaskID’s own revenue.
