We don’t buy, sell or store casks.
CaskID isn’t a broker or a bottler. We hold the record, and nothing else.
Can’t confirm? That’s fine.
Some groups don’t comment on casks they no longer own. Whatever you decide, the cask’s record says so plainly and fairly.

The record shows the distillery confirmed the fill.
Say it doesn’t match
“No match.”
We ask the owner to check their paperwork, and the record shows your records didn’t match.
Decline
“We can’t comment.”
Or don’t reply. The distillery check simply stays unconfirmed, never a mark against anyone.
What distilleries ask us
Are we vouching for the cask?
No. You’re only telling us whether a cask with these details appears in your fill records. We record it as exactly that.
We don’t verify casks we no longer own. Can we still take part?
Yes, if your policy allows a simple records match. If it doesn’t, decline or don’t reply, and the distillery check stays unconfirmed.
Do we need an account?
No. You can reply to our emails. A distillery account adds a dashboard if you’d rather work through a list.
What do you share with us?
The details the owner registered: cask number, cask type and fill date. Never the owner’s personal details.
How often will you email us?
No more than once a week, and only about casks that name your distillery.
